The Weekend
The weekend came and went. It was good, but uneventful. Saturday morning Michael's family were together for cousin CeCe's graduation from Iowa State, so we were glad to be able to Skype with them for that. Afterward, Michael played some Halo over Xbox live with his cousins.
We were a bit tired from staying up to late, so we decided to stay in for the day and went into town for some pizza in the evening. We went to Pizza School, which is across the street from HomePlus. It was really nice out and it felt good to get a little bit of exercise (about 3 miles round trip). Pizza School is a chain in Korea and it is great for pizza on a budget. Most of their pizzas are $5 a piece. While we were waiting for our pizza's (they only do take out), the Korean show Star King was on TV. I put the exact clip that we saw for your viewing pleasure.
Edit: Youtube removed the video, so here is another clip from Star King. It's not as good as the one we saw, but you can get the idea of prime time television in Korea.
Being true Korean pizza, both the cheese and sweet potato pizzas that we ordered came with corn on top. They were pretty good for $5 pizzas. We had enough left over for brunch the next morning.
Sunday, it was my family's turn for Skype and my sister Kelly was in town for the conversation too! It was almost 2 pm when we finished talking and we still hadn't decided what to do yet, so we didn't do anything. A kind of boring weekend, but it was nice to be able to relax. We have big things planned for the rest of the month, don't worry!

Hey, the film clip is no longer available on Utube. Pizza looks pretty good. Have a great "teaching" week. Mommy
